The Pécharmant terroir is the oldest terroir in the Bergerac region. Its name comes from the Celtic word, pech, the hill: “the charming hill”
A terroir is the ideal articulation of grape varieties, a type of soil, a climate and human know-how.


Located at the start of the Pécharmant loop, a hiking circuit and discovery of the vineyards, Château Les Farcies du Pech extends over 35 hectares in the middle of the hills, including 15 hectares of vines and 20 dedicated to biodiversity (meadows, woods, orchard ).

The Pécharmant vineyard is located on a soil of sand, Périgord gravel, gray and red clay on a base of limestone called “Tran”.
South facing, the vines of Château Les Farcies du Pech benefit from a temperate oceanic climate which promotes good ripening of the grapes and the concentration of sugars and aromas.
Worked in a reasoned way to respect the land, the soil and all the biodiversity they host, the vines of the estate receive a thousand care and give intact fruits rich in tannins.
Exposed to the south on the slopes of Bergerac where the sun is very generous, the vineyard benefits from an environment very favorable to the production of great wines.
The Château Les Farcies Pech. AOP (French Top Quality Wine) Pécharmant. The Pécharmant vines extend over 400 hectares to the northeast of Bergerac, on the right bank of the Dordogne river, in the heart of the purple Périgord. The oldest vineyard in Bergerac, it has managed to retain its notoriety.
The wines are raised and aged in oak barrels, monitored with the utmost attention and expertise by our team.
